The ingredients and utensils required for making granola bars

These are incredibly easy to make. They are also super healthy, and oh-so delicious. I use the Mega Medley because it is loaded with healthy super seeds and coconut oil. It is full of protein, omega oils, great flavour, and fiber. These granola bars are great for a mid-morning pick-me-up, a post-sports snack, or even for breakfast or dessert.

 DIRECTIONS:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Generously grease a baking pan of your choice, depending on how thick you like your granola bars.

I like to use a good old-fashioned double boiler rather than a microwave to melt, my peanut (or seed) butter and local honey together. Once they’re melted, mix them well. Take the pot off of the heat and add the Singing Bowl Granola Mega Medley granola, cacao nibs, and the organic quick oats and mix well. Once all of the ingredients are thoroughly blended, spread the mixture evenly in your greased baking pan. Using the flat surface of a spatula, press the mixture evenly and tightly. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes, or until the top is golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before cutting them into bars with a sharp knife. Wait until the bars are completely cooled before carefully removing them from the pan. Store in a sealed container.
