What is Singing Bowl Granola all about?
Singing Bowl Granola is the result of a lifelong passion for healthy, sustainably produced food and caring for people and the planet.
Jessica runs the market stall at Sidney Night Market,
Thursday evenings June to September.
Singing Bowl Granola started as a means of creating flexible employment at a time when I found myself caring for my young family and ageing parents. As a member of the sandwich generation, I needed to be available any time any day to care for those I loved.
Having just moved to Victoria, BC in 2011, I decided to throw caution to the wind and I abandoned my teaching career where, each morning, I had witnessed, first hand, the ill effects of highly processed breakfast cereals on young children. Singing Bowl Granola seemed like a natural career shift. After months of feeding friends and family different flavour combinations, I picked my top three artisan granola recipes to sell at a local farmers’ market in James Bay Market.
We started first of all at James Bay Market in 2011
That was in May 2011 and the business has been growing and gaining fans ever since. You can now find Singing Bowl Granola products in stores and cafés around Victoria, as well as in Duncan and Nanaimo. Singing Bowl Granola is now available across the Vancouver area. Can't find Singing Bowl Granola in your local store? Be sure to ask the store manager to bring it in. Singing Bowl Granola is hand-made in Victoria, using Organic Oats from Canadian farmers, as well as many other organic and Canadian ingredients. The granola is made with the highest quality organic oils and is sweetened with only honey or maple syrup. We are pleased to confirm that all ingredients are NON-GMO. It is prepared by hand and baked in small batches ensuring consistent freshness and flavour with every bag.
And if you don't live in the area, don't worry. We ship all over Canada with Canada Post, with a maximum rate of only $10 for up to 4kg.
